Last year we had a run of injury claims for Blackthorn infections. What is it about this thorn that causes such an issue? Can somebody help?
A few years ago one client almost lost the end of a finger – yet apparently Blackthorn is not poisonous ?
Thankfully he had Personal Injury Cover so he could claim whilst he could not work. But what is it that makes this thorn so very dangerous and what can you do about it? I am not medically trained, so if somebody has any tips then please add them here. Clearly the obvious thing is avoid it if possible and get personal injury insurance.
So ‘yes’ – before you pick up a chainsaw or go near anywhere near Blackthorn make sure you are insured.
