This one often takes me by surprise, so we thought we’d share a reminder about payments on account for your tax bill, which are due by 31st July.
If you are registered for Self-Assessment, check your payment schedule with HMRC and make sure you don’t miss making the correct payment.
If you pay late you will be charged interest, which effectively means you will pay even more tax!
And no – HMRC don’t offer a cash discount!
